Can I extend the student visa after I complete the course?
Yes, you can. We will help you prepare your application and advise you regarding the documentation you will need to send with your application form.



What happens if you have a travelling/tourist visa in the U.K.?
There are certain countries including Switzerland,Norway, Hungary, Japan, South Korea, CanadaSlovenia, Czech Republic, Brazil, Mexico, Panama,Argentina and Malaysia which receive up to six-monthtravelling/tourist visa on arrival. You may study bu you may not work. This can be changed to a student visa by applying to the Home Office.



Can the college arrange someone to meet me at the airport?
We can arrange for you to be met at the airport by a specialist agency, which will take you to your Host family.



What type of accommodation do I get?
We have a specialist home stay agency in London and we can book a place with a host family for you Email or fax us with your requirements before your departure to enable us to make the most suitable arrangements for you.



Can I take holidays from the College?
Yes, you can. The amount of holidays you can take depends on the length of your course.



What is the cost of living in London?
You will need to have approximately £500-£600 a month to cover living expenses including accommodation,food and trans portation. However, living as a student, you are able to get all kinds of students discounts.



Can I work in the U.K. as a student?
Yes, you can. According to immigration rules, students can work 20 hours per week during term-time. However, students can work full-time during vacation periods (e.g. Christmas holiday, Easter holiday.)



How do I apply for a part-time job in U.K.?
You can apply through local job centres, providing the general requirements about the type of work and numbers of hours are acceptable. The college is not responsible for finding student employment. However,we provide information about vacancies regularly on the notice board. We also help you apply for a National Insurance Number when you find employment.



How do I get a visa if I am a non-EU student?
You must apply to the British Embassy in your country. You must show the College enrolment letter together with financial evidence that you can support yourself in the U.K. (e.g. bank statement.)



Is it difficult to get a visa?
Not if you have sufficient funds to cover your study and living expenses to satisfy the British Embassy requirements. We can help you by giving you good advice based on our experience.



What happens if I am sick?
You can register with a doctor near your home or near the College free of charge.
